About Up Streams Arts & Media
Where Creativity Rises
Welcome, friend. Whether you found us through a comic book, a poem, a classroom, or a good word from a neighbor, we're glad you're here.
Up Streams Arts & Media was born in Southern California from a simple belief: creativity is a current, and when it's given room to move, it carries people somewhere better. Like a stream pushing upstream toward its source, our work moves toward hope, purpose, and the light in every story worth telling.
We believe creativity is a gift, and we're here to put it to work. We're a family of storytellers, artists, performers, and builders. Here's what you'll find when you step inside.
Comics and Original Characters
Our comic book universe is home to bold heroes, big adventures, and stories rooted in faith, courage, and character. Our flagship title, Matthew Cross: Faith Walker™, leads The Christian Action Universe, a world where good fights for what's right and every reader can see themselves in the story.
Up-Kids: Uplifting Stories for Young Hearts
Our Up-Kids line is a bright, joyful space made just for children. Through children's books, coloring books, and animation, Up-Kids plants seeds of kindness, confidence, and imagination in young minds. Every page and every frame is crafted to make kids smile, grow, and know they matter. It's creativity families can enjoy together, one coloring page and one story at a time.
Live Performance and Venue Presentations
Watch the pages come alive. Our thirty-minute live dramatic presentations bring our favorite characters to the stage for churches, community events, and special gatherings. Our performers bring the energy, the heart, and the unforgettable moments.
Poetry, Writing, and Drops of Ice Poetry & Lifestyle
Words have weight and rhythm. Our published writing and recorded and live poetry invite you to slow down, feel deeply, and see the world through a new lens. At the center of it all is Drops of Ice Poetry & Lifestyle, featuring Saint Ice the Poet. Sensitive and smooth, prolific and always impeccably dressed, Saint Ice brings depth to every verse and style to every stage. Each poem is cool, clear, and refreshing, and the poetry becomes a way of living. Come for the words, stay for the vibe.
Illustration, Storyboarding, and Visual Storytelling
From children's books to independent film, we turn ideas into images. Our professional illustration and storyboard services help clients see their vision clearly before the cameras roll or the presses run.
Youth Creative Education
We believe the next great storyteller may be sitting in a classroom right now. Our comic book curriculum guides young creators from first idea to a finished, full-color book they can hold in their hands and call their own.
Our Invitation to You
To our fans: thank you for believing in these heroes and stories. There's more coming, and we're glad you're along for the ride.
To our supporters: you make this work possible. Every book, every show, and every young creator reached is a result of your faith in us.
To our clients and partners: bring us your vision. We'll treat it with the same care, craft, and heart we give our own.
At Up Streams Arts & Media, we don't just make art. We make room for it to grow.
"And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship."
